Wagoneer Performance
The Wagoneer comes with a 5.7-liter V8 engine that uses a 48-volt hybrid system and a cylinder-deactivation feature to preserve fuel. Combined, this engine produces 392 horsepower and pairs to an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Several four-wheel-drive systems are available for the Wagoneer to boost its off-road capabilities, but rear-wheel drive is standard. The off-road prowess is also aided by an adjustable air suspension that gives the Wagoneer an additional 3.6 inches of ground clearance and a drive-mode system that has selections for snow, rock, and sand and mud. Properly equipped, the Wagoneer can tow up to 10,000 pounds.
Wagoneer Space and Comfort
The Wagoneer has three rows of supportive, comfortable seats that accommodate up to eight people. If you choose the second-row captain’s chairs, the capacity is seven. Channeling a luxury vehicle, the Wagoneer’s cabin is filled with supple leather upholstery, multi-way adjustable seats, tri-zone climate control, and ambient interior lighting that can be customized to the look you prefer.
The cargo hold of the Wagoneer offers plenty of space on its own, but it also includes a dynamic storage option for more space. You can collapse the third-row seating to allow even more space for your luggage or camping gear.
Wagoneer Technology and Features
All Wagoneer models come with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a 10.3-inch digital gauge display with vital vehicle statistics. The system offers another 10.3-inch display screen for the passenger, so your co-pilot can access the navigation and entertainment on the go. The system uses the Uconnect® 5 software, which includes satellite radio, integration navigation, Amazon Alexa, a built-in Wi-Fi hot spot, and Android Auto™ and Apple CarPlay® smartphone integration for media and entertainment.
Numerous safety features are standard for the Wagoneer, including adaptive cruise control, a feature that allows you to set your follow distance from the car ahead and automatically adjusts your speed to maintain it. Automatic emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection is also included, which alerts you to potential collisions with people or other vehicles and applies the brakes. Lane-departure warning with lane-keep assist is standard as well, which alerts you if you drift from your lane and gently guides you back to avoid a collision.
