The Mustang boasts a 5.2L Supercharged V8 engine on its premium Shelby GT500 trim, which has a top speed of 186 MPH.  Those who get a rush from fast cars will love the way the Charger goes from 0 to 60 MPH in 3.6 seconds, while the Mustang accomplishes the same in the mid-3-second range.

Both of these muscle cars have engines that give you the ability to really crank it up; ultimately, though, the Dodge Charger is able to offer more juice than the Ford Mustang in the speed department.
