Social Engagement & Crisis Management Programs

Since 1991, Detroit Impact Center has been providing a range of services aimed at uplifting at-risk youth and promoting sustainable growth throughout communities. Their programs generally fall under two strategies: social engagement and crisis management. Social engagement programs include leadership and recreation-focused activities, while crisis management programs include things like improving literacy and Second Chance Initiatives.

Change Makers

The Change Makers program centers around educational opportunities and personal development for long term success. Students learn creative outlets for self-expression, strengthen their reading and comprehension abilities, and practice social skills and healthy communication.

S.T.E.A.M.

In an everchanging world, it is vital to keep up with quickly growing fields, such as Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math, also known as S.T.E.A.M. At Detroit Impact Center, the S.T.E.A.M. program gives young people the chance to engage in real-world problem-solving projects and apply them to their daily lives.

Kids’ Club
